This year is my first year in a new house for Christmas. Last year, I debated over what color lights to use — choosing between white light or the multi-colored lights I grew up. The house I grew up in used multi-colored lights and an assortment of sentimental ornaments for the tree's trimming.  Since adopting a crazy kitten Luc, I'm putting a hold on decorating with anything sentimental in case he decides to scale the tree. Instead, opting for using bold color as a fun way to spruce up the tree in a more budget friendly way. Here's a round up of some of my favorite bold and colorful Christmas tree trimmings.

I highly recommend shatter resistant ornaments. I dropped a few while I was making an ornament wreath the other week (I'll share the DIY soon!) and none of them broke.
